Note, 30,000 is 1.7 times more than in the same period last year. Last year, about 75,000 refugees settled in the country, and in the first 8 months of this year – 115,737. This is no longer a wave, about which colleagues write reservedly and politically correctly. This is a tsunami! If we add to these numbers the 'asylum seekers' with three years of residence, their total number will clearly exceed 300,000 by the end of the year.
We experienced something similar in 1992-1994, when Chancellor Kohl decided to give shelter to hundreds of thousands of victims of the Yugoslav conflict. In a short time, thousands of strong and desperate former militants flooded Berlin and Germany. It was certainly easier for them than for women, the elderly, and children to make their way to Bundeswehr planes at the field airfields of the former Yugoslavia.
For many years the country shuddered from this 'humanism turned inside out'. Crime rose to wild levels. And what else were hundreds of thousands of former militiamen-bandits-rebels-murderers to do in German paradise? They were fed, watered, taught, clothed, guarded, and given a couple hundred marks in pocket money. And they were told: in a year or two you must return to your homeland. They were forbidden to work, only to rest and have fun! (I'm not joking!) And around them lay a peaceful, accessible, good-natured and naive country, practically handed over to them for feeding.
I remember, they were only afraid of the 'Russian mafia'. That sometimes protected our children, who walked to school and back past their hotel-camps.
Many years later, the new German government managed to somehow lure them out of the country. Each was given substantial relocation allowances, allowed to take stolen goods, and paid for a one-way flight.
Why, tell me, was all this for? Who and what did it help? After all, millions remained who did not get to us! Whom were we saving? And who granted us the divine right to choose one out of dozens, hundreds?
Now everything is repeating in an even more threatening form. Added is the danger of creating a full-fledged radical Islamic underground in the country. How many among these 30,000 'asylum seekers' are future terrorists, how many are direct agents of the 'Islamic Caliphate'? How many of them have already managed to fight against the West?
We do not know that. But we know that on average, each person granted the right to stay will live in Germany for at least three years. And it will cost the country, on average, about 1,000 euros per month (750 euros per month per person for housing, meals and living expenses, security and medical care, plus each receives 130 euros in pocket money). Almost 4 billion euros per year! If we count at today's numbers. And all this – without the costs of their future capture and subsequent deportation.
And it's not just about the costs. There is something extremely inhumane in this selective humanism (the one who made it – paradise, and the rest – die!). It turns out to be some kind of stupid, immoral lottery in which everyone loses. Including the desire to do good.
