Translation Agency: Notarization of Documents with Apostille

Only documents that meet special requirements can be admitted for notarization: the document submitted for notarized translation must be dated, signed, and also stamped with the seal of the organization that issued it. Corrections are not allowed in such a document; the document must not be damaged or torn. Notarization of document translations is one of the types of document processing carried out by a specialized translation agency.

For a diploma previously obtained in another country to have legal force, diploma legalization is required.

An apostille is a special stamp that certifies an official document for use abroad without additional legalization. An apostille is affixed to documents in the country where they were issued. In particular, an apostille for diplomas issued in the Russian Federation can only be legalized in that country. In Russia, the affixing of an apostille on notarized copies of documents is carried out by the judicial authorities of the Russian Federation.

This procedure has an undeniable advantage: the apostille used for official legalization allows the document to acquire legal force in all countries that have acceded to the Hague Convention.

The procedure for obtaining an apostille is not very long and, as a rule, does not exceed one week.
