The beauty of the body and physical strength are formed through long and persistent training

Modern preparations included in the sports nutrition complex are developed based on creatine transport systems – the end product of protein metabolism. Creatine influences the formation of muscle mass. The more completely creatine is absorbed by the body, the larger the muscles.

Scientific research shows that an increase in blood creatine directly depends on an increase in insulin levels in the body. One of the functions of insulin is to transport creatine, amino acids, and other substances into muscle tissue cells. It is this mechanism that was used by pharmacologists in developing the creatine transport system.

In modern sports nutrition, new generation supplements based on new developments in creatine transport systems are used. Creatine products today represent various combinations of creatine with taurine, phosphate salts, magnesium, alpha-lipoic acid, and such a popular amino acid as L-glutamine. New generation supplements contain minimal amounts of carbohydrates or no carbohydrates at all, whereas previous supplements had a creatine transport system that stimulated insulin production with dextrose – one type of simple sugar.

The rapid restoration of glycogens, which provide the body with necessary energy after active physical exertion, was made possible by the carbohydrate components of creatine products of past years. But an abundant intake of carbohydrates provokes the body to release more insulin than it needs. Excess insulin can produce a poison effect in the body. Therefore, to protect itself, the body converts excess insulin into triglycerides, i.e., fats. This explains the excess weight of many athletes who abuse carbohydrates.

Modern supplements included in the sports nutrition system also include high-protein products (proteins), fat burners, vitamins, energy drinks, amino acids, and other active substances. The choice of certain supplements depends on the goals that a person sets when coming to the gym. For example, if you want to lose weight, you need to use fat burners, and if you want to build muscle mass, drugs from the gainer category are suitable.
