Buying a new cartridge is not always possible, and it's expensive. Taking the cartridge to a workshop that offers computer repair makes no sense, because this problem is solved very easily. All you need for this is the ability to use a computer mouse and install the necessary programs.
Printers of the entire HP Deskjet series are built on a similar scheme. More precisely, their cartridges are very, very similar. Therefore, we will not disassemble a specific printer, but the entire Deskjet series. Repairing a dried cartridge does not require outside help.
In what sequence will we work? The first thing to do is to make sure that there is ink in your cartridge. What if you are blaming it in vain, maybe it is not dried, but just ran out of ink. If you refilled recently and are sure there is ink, then you can proceed to cleaning.
HP has apparently become accustomed to this problem, so to somehow appease dissatisfied customers, they developed a special program that helps clean dried cartridges. This program comes on the installation disc with the printer. If there is no such disc, or there is but the software version is not suitable, then download the program "Deskjet All-In-One" from the official website for your printer and for your software.
Install the program and open "HP Solution Center", which is installed together with Deskjet All-In-One. Select the parameters field at the bottom and in the window that opens click "Printer Toolbox". Select the "Clean Cartridges" item, insert paper into the printer and start cleaning. Wait...
After this procedure, open any document and print it. Is the problem solved? If not, repeat the cleaning, and then select the "Refill Cartridge" item. If that didn't help either, then it's time to contact specialists – it's quite possible that computer assistance is needed not only for your printer, but also for your computer.
