But my husband and I decided despite everything! Because family and children are the only things worth living for. We have six children. By today's standards, that's a lot. Remember, not even a century ago, this was the norm in every Russian family. And nothing, they raised them all and set them on their feet. And they grew up to be normal, full-fledged people! Even though times were hard: wars, blockades, revolutions, famine… No, we firmly believe that if God gave children, He will also provide for them.
For example, our friends have nine children. The oldest daughters are already 27 and 25, both have higher education, got married and gave their parents grandchildren. And the grandchildren, by the way, are the same age as their little uncles and aunts. After all, what could be better than having many little ones in the house?
Yes! We have six children. Of course, I had to leave work to always look after my little ones. They require a lot of attention. There's laundry to do, floors to wash, toys to pick up after everyone, homework with the older ones, and feed everyone. Phew! But I manage! How?
My husband and I tried to automate our apartment as much as possible. A super-modern automatic washing machine does the laundry for everyone. All that's left is to hang the laundry and iron it later. But the kids help with that. The kitchen also had to be equipped with the latest technology. To cook a lot and deliciously, you need either enough time, which a mother of many children doesn't have, or a lot of equipment.
From equipment, we bought a blender, a planetary mixer, and a food processor. With the blender, my eldest daughter and I make pureed soups and delicious milkshakes that our little ones love. In the planetary mixer, we knead dough for pies, pancakes, and fritters, make homemade mayonnaise and various sauces for different dishes. With the food processor, it's easy to prepare a salad: fruit, meat, fish, vinaigrette. Good kitchen appliances save time, and the result exceeds all expectations.
But the biggest helper in our kitchen is the combi steamer. We bought it recently and immediately threw out almost half of the appliances: the stove, deep fryer, oven, grill.
