Rest in a Few Days

Lying on the couch all these days in front of the TV or laptop screen is really not the best option. On the one hand, of course, you will relax and disconnect from all affairs. But the harder it will be to get back into the work routine on Tuesday. Resting in a compressed time frame is an extreme task in some ways: you don't have many resources, time, or opportunities, but for your own well-being, you must quickly bring yourself back to normal.

The best options for achieving this goal are those that combine elements of relaxation and active actions. Such rest could be tours to Turkey or other hot countries, where you can both lazily lie on the beach and run around markets, boutiques, ancient monuments, and explore natural beauty outdoors. But of course, if we are talking about four to five days, you are unlikely to buy such tours. Moreover, even if you go abroad for a day, you will get more tired due to flights and time zone changes.

Therefore, it is worth relying on the resources you have right in your hometown. Remember that the ratio of relaxation to activity should be about 40 to 60. As relaxing methods of rest, you can use reading, watching pleasant, non-taxing films, taking a warm bath with aromatic salt or herbs. Those interested in spiritual growth can also engage in exercises of meditation, stabilization, relaxation, concentration.

As for active recreation, start with light exercises at home, walks and jogging in the fresh air. You can tidy up closets and shelves, actively sort things (dishes, wardrobe, cosmetics, some souvenirs).

Just don't engage in completely routine types of cleaning unnecessarily; let someone else sweep the floors or wash the dishes. Because such activities are associated with a tedious obligation, you will rather get tired.

One evening you can go somewhere to dance. Socialization will be very useful – don't say 'no' to meeting friends!
