You need to start taking care of your vision from childhood
You should think about it as early as possible. Even the smallest, breastfed children can 'ruin' their vision if they spend a lot of time in front of the TV or near a computer. Too bright picture and rapidly changing frames negatively affect the still fragile eyes of a baby. Do not forget to regularly show your child to a specialist – an ophthalmologist will help timely recognize possible problems and solve them at an early stage of development.
From the moment a child begins to draw, sculpt, learn to write, etc., he needs properly selected furniture. Curvature of the spine also negatively affects vision. Teach your child from a very early age to sit correctly. When choosing furniture, make sure that the sitting child has right angles in the joints (knees, hips, shoulders, elbows). It is good if the table is slightly tilted towards the sitter. The chair should be hard, with a straight back. The child's feet should reach the floor. Buy children's furniture with height adjustment: then it will last for many years, and you won't have to buy a new chair and table every year to match the child's height.
Another important factor is lighting. The children's room should always be light, twilight is unacceptable. But lighting the child's workplace is a special concern. Ideally, lighting should be natural: if possible, place the table to the right of the window (so that light falls from the left). Keep the windows clean, decorate the walls and ceiling of the children's room in light colors – this also improves lighting. If natural lighting is not possible or insufficient, as well as in the dark, use a bright desk lamp. It should illuminate the workplace from the left. But keep in mind: when using a desk lamp, the general room light must also be turned on!
If your child still gets myopia, take care of timely vision correction. Children often refuse to wear glasses, causing them to constantly squint, and vision continues to inexorably deteriorate. Convince the child that you can look good in glasses, choose a frame together, and support your child in every way.
