American Cuisine at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel

Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel invites guests to taste the cuisine of the New World

Following President Obama's historic trip to Cuba, The Rib Room restaurant offers guests a new American menu, as well as a selection of premium cigars from one of Cuba's most respected experts. Alfie’s Restaurant will offer guests classic American cocktails. Mundo restaurant will head south and return with a new Friday menu based on the amazing flavors of Latin America.

Sven Widenhaupt, General Manager of Jumeirah Emirates Towers, said: "From the point of view of ingredients, culinary style and taste, North and South America are extremely diverse. We want to introduce guests to this vitality and richness of America's culinary heritage – from Boston to Bogota, from Chicago to Cusco, from Manhattan to Mexico and other regions of these continents."

The Rib Room restaurant launches a new American menu from April 1. The menu will feature many dishes from all over the USA – from fresh Alaskan halibut to crispy onion rings. On April 12 and 29, as well as May 5 and 26, guests can end their meal with a genuine Cuban cigar, hand-rolled for them by an invited expert from the Partagas factory in Havana. Every Friday at The Rib Room there will be a bourbon and beef evening, during which guests can enjoy delicious barbecue washed down with quality bourbon.

From Friday April 8, Mundo restaurant launched a special Latin American menu featuring dishes such as crab cakes, South American ceviche, churrasco, Peruvian sushi, as well as exquisite cocktails and a collection of fine wines. Lunch prices start from 275 dirhams per person.

From April 6, at Alfie’s restaurant, guests can sign up for cocktail courses, which will take place every Thursday at 19:00. For 100 dirhams, guests can learn the techniques of professional bartenders, with the help of a highly skilled professional bartender. Guests will learn to mix and prepare various American cocktails: from Manhattan to various Martinis. Guests can taste their creations and take away the recipes to hone their cocktail-making skills at home.
