I personally settled on Veka Ukraine. The reason is quite simple, and my sympathy began with learning the company's history. First, it is one of the oldest. Its founder Heinrich Laumann started production half a century ago, though he was little known at the time. He invited the best designers and technologists to his company and set the task of making the highest quality and simultaneously beautiful profile.
Second, the work of technologists required placing orders at neighboring enterprises, then their own, and then creating their own laboratories where they began to develop new types of PVC plastic. After all, initially it was very unstable to ultraviolet radiation and decomposed, releasing many harmful substances. Modern German PVC is now used even for storing blood preparations.
This medical use of their PVC film finally got me. After all, they make super white film-cloth for scientific research (very soft and really resembling a cloth), bags for medical preparations, windows for children's and medical purposes... the full range!
Then I proceeded from my own reflections. Veka is a company that has its own factories, all (including Chinese ones) are certified according to DIN ISO 9001, meaning the production itself is high-quality everywhere. Veka has its own research centers, which means they are not standing still (do you think they would feed a bunch of specialists for free?) They also have their own laboratories, both research and measuring, i.e., they are quite capable of controlling any point of their production – which is not so easy, by the way!
VEKA has the full range of products. Absolutely everything that exists on the market. So whatever you choose, a five-chamber profile, a three-chamber profile – it will all be excellent products with European quality standards.
Well, finally, Ukraine is a long-developed territory for Veka, where a chain of dealers and suppliers has been established, and even its own factory is open. So if something goes wrong, repairs are also guaranteed for me, and components are not so hard to find.
Let's draw a conclusion. Choosing Veka is the rightest decision. Yes, more expensive. But I was planning to take windows on credit anyway, so what difference does it make whether to pay it off in six months or eight months? They are worth it, so the choice should definitely be made in favor of quality, reliability, and common sense.
