For scalpers, the speed of opening trades and the absence of requotes are very important, because with Forex trading signals, the price can move several pips in a couple of seconds, and the trader will get less profit than planned. If the order opening is executed at market, the requote problem disappears, but execution quality must remain high.
The optimal trade opening time is 0.2-0.4 seconds. In the history of trading, there have been precedents when an order was only opened 30-40 minutes after being placed. This is unacceptable for any type of trading.
Spread play. When trading Forex, you must constantly monitor the spread using special indicators. Some dishonest brokers widen the spread by 20-30 times on news, which will simply blow the deposit with aggressive trading. The spread widening factor can eliminate the break-even point of a trade or cause greater losses than expected.
Communication disconnection. This is the most unpleasant technical moment. In such a situation, some indicators start working with failures, and orders are opened or closed not at the declared price. If a connection with the server is lost, you should try to rescan the servers within the nearest seconds. This factor can be critical for scalpers, especially since some dealing centers intentionally disconnect communication during strong news.
Lack of liquidity (read – trading ban). This is a long-known trick of brokers when the price moves several percent in a day. This is done because it is very difficult to cover deals going in one direction within the dealing desk. In such situations, currency pairs are switched to Close Only mode, and deals that are in the market at that time are closed. To protect yourself from dishonest brokers, you must necessarily review Forex broker ratings.
All the factors described above can greatly reduce the profitability of trading systems even for professional traders. To avoid such situations, you should carefully read the dealing center's regulations, read the trading conditions, and avoid the high-volatility market.
