At first, the conditions were as follows: purchase of real estate worth from €142,300 in the Riga region or registration of a company with investments from €35,000. The goal was achieved – the volume of investments grew to almost €1.5 billion, about 15,000 applications were received for obtaining a residence permit in Latvia.
This did not sit well with national political organizations; parliamentarians decided to focus on quality rather than quantity of investors, attracting wealthier people by raising the minimum real estate value to €250,000. Despite the increase in rates since autumn 2014, the number of those wishing to obtain a residence permit in Latvia has not diminished much. After all, the crisis in the economies of post-Soviet countries forces their citizens to seek better opportunities – decent living conditions for their families and development for their businesses.
There is a wealth of information online about obtaining a residence permit in European countries, but neither experts nor intermediaries disclose details that may be crucial. The company ICG-seminar has developed a series of seminars on business migration and obtaining a residence permit, including in Latvia, Germany, Poland, for example, a workshop «Residence permit and citizenship in different countries – an overview of the most attractive programs in the world. Opportunities, advantages, features of changing passport, residency and place of residence. Obtaining a residence permit through education. Procedures, terms, prices» or «Latvia for business and life», «Germany for life and business», «Slovakia for business and life: real estate, business, education, residence permit and citizenship». And also a special offer – a personal consultation from the company's specialists, the advantage of which is that all «pitfalls», professional secrets and important little things will be revealed.
You will learn about which country to choose for your specific goals, how to transfer your business to Europe or Asia, how to obtain a residence permit for relatives. Perhaps you will even realize that the EU is not your option, and instead of a residence permit in Latvia or Germany, you will consider more exotic destinations – for example, citizenship of one of the Caribbean countries.
