As Interfax reports, the Vatican was admitted to Interpol by an absolute majority of votes. It became the 187th member of the international organization. Speaking before the conference delegates, a Vatican representative noted that from now on, the country's gendarmerie corps and the Swiss Guard will handle cooperation with Interpol.
