They should click into the "locks"; with correct installation, the plastic panel moves freely left and right. Screws must not be fully tightened when fastening panels.
Certain types of vinyl lining have different coefficients of linear expansion, so the size of the gap when joining two panels must be appropriate. The coefficient is usually indicated on the packaging. In the absence of gaps or if the screw is too tight, the panel may deform as a result of heating, and the appearance of the facade will suffer.
