Maryan Belenky
Author of the book 'Is There Life in Israel?' (published in 1999 in Russian and Hebrew). Translated books and plays by the famous Israeli humorist Ephraim Kishon, and plays by the classic of modern Israeli drama Hanoch Levin. Articles and essays are published in the Russian-language press of the USA, Germany, Canada, Australia, Israel, as well as in Russia and Kazakhstan.
In 2002, Maryan Belenky published in the newspaper 'Zagranitsa' (Ukraine) a selection of his materials, which we present to the attention of readers in this special issue.
