The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the exhibition so that foreign citizens could see with their own eyes the reality of the threat from which the Ukrainian people are protecting themselves and Europe today.
"The 'main sponsors' of these exhibits are our warriors," said Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov. "Thanks to their courage and skill, Europe can see up close that the once 'second army in the world' can and must be defeated."
"The purpose of the exhibitions is simple: we want to show the residents of European states the onslaught of deadly iron that Ukraine is holding back. We demonstrate that Russian tanks can only advance through our territory as exhibition pieces. Our defenders have plenty of courage and professionalism. But we need weapons."
"Arming Ukraine is the most rational decision to avoid seeing Russian troops on your streets, hearing explosions, or burying loved ones... Prague has a special history with tanks directed by the Kremlin. I am sure the Czechs will have something to remember. At the same time, this is a good opportunity to thank the Czech people and government for everything they do for Ukraine, for the support we greatly appreciate," noted the head of Ukraine's defense ministry.
"We will continue working to 'realize' Moscow's long-standing dream of the Kremlin empire's tanks 'reaching the English Channel.' The more modern long-range weapons we receive from partners and the faster it happens, the more lives we will save. And the sooner Ukraine's defense forces will provide the cities of the free world with interesting exhibits. We are working on this 24/7."
"We are fighting for Ukraine and defending Europe. Ukraine is the shield of Europe. Glory to Ukraine!" summarized Oleksii Reznikov.
This is not the first exhibition of destroyed Russian military equipment organized in Europe. A similar event took place earlier in three Polish cities – Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław. Similar exhibitions are also planned in Berlin, Paris, Madrid, and Lisbon.
