Illegal immigrants from Syria tried to enter Europe disguised as athletes
As reported by “Russkaya Germaniya”, to make it convincing, the fake volleyball players donned identical sports suits, packed their belongings in sports bags, and even brought two balls for plausibility. However, they failed to enter Europe with forged documents: Greek passport control officers quickly exposed the clever “comedians.”
Of course, it was not hard to see through the “illegal actors” – the Syrians, who did not watch their physical fitness, only remotely resembled athletes, nor did they look like Ukrainians – their appearance was not very Slavic.
As a result, ten illegal immigrants heading to Switzerland via Athens were detained by Greek police. It turned out that the identification documents provided to passport control officers did not match the passengers’ identities – all ten passports were invalid, either expired, lost by previous owners, or stolen from them.
