Tips for Examinees

Millions of students regularly experience stress during exam sessions. Several valuable tips can help ease this nerve-wracking procedure:

- It is essential to always have a minimal knowledge base on the subject being examined, so that you can switch the topic of conversation during the exam, charm the examiner with your wit, resourcefulness, and sense of humor, demonstrating at least some advantages.

- Immediately before entering the exam room, you need to isolate yourself for a few minutes to achieve complete relaxation and meditate to free yourself from fears and worries. A good exercise is to mentally simulate the upcoming exam, ending with a positive result. You can also imagine that you drew a ticket you know well and mentally rehearse your convincing and brilliant answer – this will help you tune into an emotional frequency that will enable you to handle the upcoming challenge.

- After drawing your ticket, you need to sit quietly and relax for a few minutes – during this time, your brain will tune itself for maximum efficient work. To optimize this process, imagine a powerful and gentle energy stream penetrating from above directly over you, filling your body with energy and carrying all tension and anxiety into the ground.

- While writing your answer, do not get upset if you cannot remember something – quickly and enthusiastically write down everything you remember on the topic, and your memory via neural network should lead you to all the answers. The main thing is to overcome the fear that blocks your memory.

- Do not go to the exam without glasses if you have even minimal signs of vision loss. If you are embarrassed to wear glasses, get contact lenses. Sharp eyesight will be very useful during the exam – the assignment may be written on the board, and you can also try to find the correct answer in various ways.

- If you have free time before the exam, try to study the examiner's communication style and approach, mentally modeling your answer. Remember, panic destroys thought processes, while modeling always accumulates energy and strength. Therefore, even if the situations you modeled do not come true exactly, you are guaranteed concentration and decent memory work. And that is already half the way to success!
