Socionics – the science of human relationships

If we believe socionics, there are many "Napoleons" among us

It is so hard to find a kindred spirit – let alone across the whole Earth! It often happens that in everyday life we don't find common ground with colleagues at work or neighbors on the landing. Admittedly, this is not a reason to change your place of residence or look for a new job. One can get used to anything, and one can and even must find common ground with everyone. And there is no need to reinvent the wheel! There is no need to experiment, because there is a way to solve the pressing problems of communication with others.

Learning to understand people, to find common ground even with your antipodes will be helped by socionics. Trust the experience of great scientists and psychologists – it is thanks to their many years of observations that this science was born. The world became acquainted with socionics in the early 1970s. Its appearance we owe to Lithuanian economist and sociologist A. Augustinaviciute, as well as to Jung's work "Psychological Types" and A. Kempinski's theory of information metabolism.

Socionics is a science whose main subjects of study are man and the world around him. Socionics studies the process of human perception of information about everything that surrounds him in everyday life. And we, you and I, are literally bathing in a huge endless stream of information – from the weather outside the window to communication with people. And the way one person or another perceives this information determines the relationships between people.

Thus, socionics deals primarily with the analysis of human relationships. Thanks to the approaches and conclusions of socionics, everyone will learn to understand people, correctly choose their environment, master the principles of self-regulation, and also be able to change their behavior depending on the specific situation.

As mentioned above, socionics deals with information, and accordingly penetrates into all spheres of our life. The science is vast and knows no boundaries, but to understand how it "works", there is no need to study its basic principles and theories for years. It is enough to understand the fact that socionics divides the entire information flow around us into eight channels (aspects). The very process of perception, selection and processing of information about the surrounding world by the human psyche is called information metabolism.

Socionics deals with building a model of information metabolism. In the process of building this model, an analysis of the properties of 16 possible types of information metabolism is carried out. These properties are compared with the behavior, character and habits of people, which allows us to understand human relationships. Each person is one of the sixteen types of information metabolism, that is, they perceive and process the received information in one of sixteen ways. It is not hard to guess that people with the same type of information metabolism perceive information in the same way. One should, of course, make allowances for the individual characteristics of each of us. However, the knowledge gained will help you correctly choose the manner of behavior with representatives of each of the sixteen types of information metabolism.

Socionics is not just a beautiful science about human relationships. Today it has found wide practical application, especially in Western European countries and in America. When applying for a job abroad, employers have long offered to take special tests for professional orientation. Subsequently, this helps to save time and money for employers. After all, as everyone knows, a person with a technical mindset will achieve less high results in the humanities field, and vice versa – a humanities specialist will not be able to become a good specialist in the technical field.

In addition to determining this fact, when applying for a job abroad, socionics is also used to determine your main character traits. This allows you to understand how effectively you will be able to work in an already formed team, whether you will be able to find common ground with colleagues at work, how conflict-prone you are, whether your character traits and behavior will harm the company's work. That is, summarizing the above, socionics simplifies the selection of personnel and helps to choose exactly the employee who will bring great benefit and profit to the company. When applying for a job abroad, socionics becomes simply indispensable, because one should not forget that all types of information metabolism are not divided into bad and good types. Always and everywhere there are types that are suitable and not suitable for a particular job. Socionics copes well with the task, helping to select the right people.

In turn, socionics helps not only the employer, but also the employee. A person familiar with the basic principles and approaches of socionics will be able to adjust their behavior depending on the situation, having learned self-regulation, each of us is capable of achieving high results.
