Most Attractive Countries for Migrants
As reported by Lenta.ru<\/a> citing The Telegraph, in 2006 the US received 1.3 million migrants. The second place was taken by the United Kingdom with an inflow of migrants exceeding 340,000 people. In third place was Germany with 216,000 migrants.<\/p>
Next come Italy (204,000 people), Australia (192,000), France (169,000), Japan (96,000) and the Netherlands (59,000). It should be noted that OECD statistics only take into account people who legally moved to another country for permanent residence.<\/p>
