The decoding of codes and, naturally, ways to eliminate the malfunction can be found in the user manual and using it perform repair of Canon cameras.
2) E – the first symbol from the word engineer indicates that the cause of the malfunction can be fixed by a service engineer for camera repair, who can recognize the clear decoding of the code in the repair instructions (service manual).
Other digits that follow after the colon indicate the block or cause of the malfunction. The last two digits in the number designation – the reason for elimination, the method of determining the direction and verifying the cause of the malfunction. For example, C:32:01 indicates that:
1) C – information intended for users
2) 32 – the camera mechanism itself is faulty
3) 01 – troubleshooting method – try turning the camera off and on again.
In the event of the above situation, you must first follow the recommendations for determining the troubleshooting method for the camera according to the user manual.
If the error code appears on the digital camera screen again, perform the following steps: briefly disconnect and reconnect the battery. Reset everything with the 'reset' button; if there is no such button in your camera model (you can check in the manual), then carry out the 'reset all settings' procedure in the camera menu. After that, all camera functions will be set to default as they were from the manufacturer (factory default).
There is also a common error with code E:91:01 and during repair of Sony cameras it can be read as 'error during flash capacitor charging'.
