By the end of June 2008, the Dutch state had issued about 26,000 residence permits. Just over a quarter of them were obtained by minors. Four thousand refugees from the former Soviet Union and three thousand from former Yugoslavia received residence permits.
As RUS.nl notes, a total of six thousand refugees were not covered by the general amnesty. They were mostly denied because they pose a threat to public order or applied for asylum under false names.
