Laptop: A Computer That Makes You Free

In addition to undeniable convenience, today's laptops can also pleasantly surprise with their price

And this is quite understandable – after all, it is much more convenient for a person to control a small device that requires very little space, much less than a desktop computer. Laptops are especially convenient for those who do not stay in one place but are constantly on the move. Incidentally, as strange as it may seem, most surveyed owners of portable computers use them for personal purposes rather than for work.

It is very convenient to take a full-fledged computer, only reduced in size, on a trip – it is not tied to any specific location, and the problem with the Internet is gradually becoming a thing of the past. USB modems and Wi-Fi hotspots in large cities are gaining momentum and popularity.

Today, a laptop is no longer a curiosity but a common and popular item among people. You can buy it at any computer store, see an advertisement for some new model on TV, or order it from an online store. The latter offers more freedom of choice and provides the most complete information on any model. In an online store, you can compare laptops from different manufacturers, choose the delivery method and terms, and pay for the goods in the most convenient way – fortunately, there are enough options now, for every taste and preference.

Laptops, like ordinary computers, differ in the amount of RAM, hard disk capacity, and performance parameters. But here, the design of the computer, its size, weight, and battery life are much more important. At the moment, a good laptop can be bought for a relatively small amount; it has practically caught up with desktop PCs not only in quality but also in price-performance ratio, which seemed unattainable just five years ago.

Back then, a laptop that matched an ordinary computer in terms of memory and performance cost incomparably more money than now. Acer laptops, for example, start at $355 for a computer with quite decent specifications. For the same amount, you can buy a system unit of an ordinary computer. But you also need a monitor, keyboard, and other devices. So nowadays, a portable computer is already cheaper than a desktop.

So what's the problem? Now anyone who wants to can easily buy the needed computer without breaking the bank. And those who cannot afford to pay for the device upfront can take out a loan.
