As Deutsche Welle notes, the Goethe-Institut's online course "Deutsch am Arbeitsplatz" is designed for different language levels. In the section for beginners (A1 and A2), you can practice the names of professions and activities, as well as understand in which situation to use "du" or "Sie". The B2 course is devoted to business correspondence in German.

In addition to general vocabulary, the Goethe-Institut website also has exercises specially designed for representatives of the social, technical, cultural, and craft sectors, as well as for those who work in an office or in the service sector. For specialists in the care sector

The German organization IQ helps improve chances on the German labor market for specialists with a migration background. For those planning to work in Germany in the care of the sick and elderly, it has created a smartphone app "Ein Tag Deutsch in der Pflege". With its help, you can learn German starting from level B1.

The material is mastered in a game format. The specialist expands their vocabulary by solving specific tasks. For example, you work in a hospital in Hamburg and need to change a bandage for a 65-year-old patient. Depending on which option you choose during the game, you will be offered different dialogue scenarios with the patient.

The measured pace allows you to practice vocabulary and listening comprehension. By choosing one or another sequence of actions, you also learn how to properly treat patients. In addition to dialogues, you can do exercises to reinforce vocabulary and practice pronunciation. The app also includes a glossary of frequently used terms in the care sector.
