As reported by the operator's representatives, MegaFon tariffs have been raised due to the sharp decline of the ruble against the main currencies (US dollar and euro), in which roaming tariffs for subscribers are set. The changes affect all regional companies of the operator.
In international roaming of the mobile operator MegaFon, the whole world is divided into only 4 groups of countries with common tariffs within each group and a single list of possible call types for the whole world (incoming, local within the country of stay, calls to Russia, calls to other countries, data transmission, calls to satellite networks, and SMS).
For example, incoming calls for MegaFon subscribers in European countries will cost 56 rubles, outgoing calls – 86 rubles (including VAT). In North and Central America – 100 and 156 rubles respectively.
For sending SMS in international roaming, a single tariff applies worldwide for subscribers of the mobile operator – 15 rubles.
