Cultures Merged in Carnival

Karneval der Kulturen takes place annually in Germany

One of the most popular events of the year in Germany is the Carnival of Cultures. It was first organized in 1996 and took place in Berlin, and since then it has become an annual event attracting an increasing number of guests from all over the world. If you want to express gratitude, organize congratulations to dad, give an unforgettable gift to other loved ones, then a trip to Berlin for the carnival will be the best solution.

The holiday fully justifies its name, because the city is home to just under half a million foreign residents. The ethnic diversity determines such an amazing and multinational holiday. About three million people take part in it, and together with them, one and a half million tourists enjoy the fun.

More and more guests are attracted by national songs and dances, the diversity of cuisines and the unique atmosphere of the carnival. The parade involves more than 80 countries and cultures; here you can see masters of acrobatics and musicians, designers and artists who have worked all year and honed their skills to demonstrate them to the general public. Everyone will find entertainment and spectacle to their taste. It will not be boring for lovers of loud discos and connoisseurs of painting, musicians and athletes.

Like any festival, the celebration takes place on the main streets of the city, so the end of spring was chosen as the time for its holding. If in spring you plan to make toasts at a wedding and congratulate the newlyweds on their marriage, then it is simply impossible to imagine a more romantic wedding trip. None of the festival guests will be bored thanks to the friendly and hospitable reception of the Germans.

During the holiday, all restaurants, cafes and clubs are literally open around the clock so that visitors can fully enjoy the festive atmosphere and remain satisfied. On every street of Berlin, exciting shows are held, children and adults are entertained by cheerful clowns showering guests with sweets and colorful confetti. The city celebrates, and with it all the guests.
