The point is that for orientation, the rear panel of the carriage is attached to a special encoder strip (a thin transparent strip with markings). The cause of such disorientation can be ordinary dust that accumulates on this very strip.
The procedure for printer repair begins with disassembling the device. There is no need to disassemble the entire device. Remove the case, then carefully disconnect the carriage and remove the encoder strip (just remember its position, because if it is reinstalled incorrectly, there is a risk of completely ruining its orientation). Ten to one, you will find a solid layer of dust on it, which is the cause of crooked printing and extraneous noise effects.
Carefully wipe the strip using a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Remove dust in such a way as not to remove the oriented markings along with it!
