Russia is not among the main trading partners of the country, but our consumers have long appreciated the high quality of Czech goods. Factories of such automotive giants as Toyota, Hyundai, and Peugeot have been built in the country. The supply of cars and spare parts is one of the main import areas. Famous Czech jewelry, crystal, lamps, and beer are in particular demand in Russia.
The main delivery of cargo from the Czech Republic is carried out by road through the Baltic countries and Belarus. It takes about 5-7 days. When sending goods as groupage cargo, consolidation of shipments takes place at warehouses in Prague or neighboring Germany. Such delivery is cheaper, but given the time spent at the warehouse, it will take 5-6 days longer.
Transportation of imported goods is also possible by rail. The inexpensive service is complicated by the difference in track gauge and the need to reload goods at the border of the CIS countries.
The use of air transport for cargo delivery from the Czech Republic is used extremely rarely. This expensive service is not justified by the speed of receipt, and due to the small number of flights, one can expect to ship their cargo in 3-6 days. During this time, it can be transported by truck at an affordable cost.
The lack of access to the sea does not provide for water methods of international transportation. Due to the large flow of goods, the country's transport system is often overloaded, and membership in the European Union requires the preparation of a large number of documents. To avoid delays at the border, it is better to entrust customs clearance to professionals.
