The thickness of the side walls is less than that of the door, as the side and back walls are naturally protected (when built in). These same characteristics also improve fire resistance. Experts say that there are cases when breaking into such a hiding place is more difficult than breaking into cash safes (thanks to additional protection – a concrete wall). In some models, a fire-resistant material is inserted inside the door, which will expand in the event of a possible fire and protect against excessive heating.
Today you can also find rarer safes for offices of the second class, which are less popular due to their high price. But in some cases, when a large number of people are around valuable items all day, an increased degree of protection is not superfluous.
All built-in models usually have key locks installed. In devices from foreign manufacturers, the lock is always protected by a plate against drilling, since the lock is the most vulnerable part of a safe that is protected on all sides by strong walls.
Very often, companies that offer a huge range of safes provide installation services for an additional fee or even for free. In this case, the equipment will be installed wherever you wish, and all work will be carried out professionally and competently.
After the safe is securely built in or fastened, you just need to cover it with something (a painting, mirror, cabinet, etc.).
