Many finishing materials can enhance thermal insulation: polystyrene foam, mineral wool, expanded polystyrene, fiberboard, and some others. If you do not plan to install a new screed and heated floors, then you should consider using linoleum with thermal insulation material.
Insulation of radiators
Heat from a radiator or battery will be used more efficiently if you decide to install a heat-reflecting screen. For this, by the way, you don't need to buy such items in stores: a heat-reflecting screen can be easily made from a sheet of fiberboard painted with silver paint, or from ordinary foil.
