What is a move and what it's all about

According to Ozhegov's dictionary, the word 'moving' means leaving somewhere with relocation, that is, leaving one dwelling place and acquiring another. In principle, almost every person knows this. But at the same time, not everyone realizes into what types professional cargo movers classify moves.

So, in the professional environment, moves are divided into three types: apartment, dacha, and office moves. Each type of move differs from the others, so they should be considered separately.

An apartment move is the process of changing one's place of residence. A distinctive feature of an apartment move is the variety of cargo being transported, as people move with their lives. Toys, documents, furniture, clothing, appliances, dishes, personal items – all of this requires extremely careful transportation. Depending on the volume, apartment moves are in turn divided into one-room, two-room, and so on.

An office move is usually paid for by the relocating company and therefore is almost always associated with large expenses. It is also the most profitable of all moves for movers, because the items being transported are of the same type (chairs, tables, equipment). The move plan also includes the installation and dismantling of office equipment and its components. And the volumes of office moves are much larger than those of apartment moves.

A dacha move usually involves transporting old things and furniture to your dacha. The peculiarity of this type of move is that the owners do not particularly worry about the condition of the items being transported, since mostly things that have 'served their time' are sent to the dacha. And a couple of chips and scratches will not spoil their appearance.
