The project allows educated specialists from 12 countries, as well as foreign graduates of Czech secondary schools and universities, to stay in the Czech Republic with their families and obtain permanent residence in a shorter time (sometimes, for example, in 2.5 years). So far, 1,138 people have participated, mainly from Eastern Europe. 226 of them can already stay in the country permanently.
As reported by "Radio Prague", the project for selecting qualified foreign workers will continue to be implemented in parallel with the 'green cards' project.
