As reported by Radio Prague, from now on Czechs can obtain citizenship of the Czech Republic without renouncing their existing citizenship of the country of residence. The applicant will be relieved of the obligation to provide a document renouncing their current citizenship. Thus, the time for obtaining Czech citizenship will be reduced by the period previously required to obtain documents renouncing the current citizenship.<\/p>
