The Hatsan rifle is popular among shooters
But what specific upgrades can be suitable for Hatsan air rifles? Initially, the basic version of the rifle comes without an optical sight, so installing and zeroing this accessory can significantly improve the quality of shooting and the enjoyment derived from it. First of all, this concerns shot grouping and increased aiming range. It is better to have the installation done either at the point of purchase or in specialized workshops. As for zeroing, you will need to do it yourself so that the rifle shoots exactly where you aim it.
The optical sight can be removed during transport, but it is better not to, because after each removal you will have to zero it again. Also, a quick-detachable bipod can be installed on the rifle – a metal stand consisting of two extending legs and a mount. This bipod serves so that during aimed shooting from cover you do not have to hold the rifle in your hands for a long time, which inevitably leads to hand fatigue and loss of shooting accuracy. The bipod is quite simple to use, easily attaches to the rifle barrel and is just as easily removed.
It is worth noting that for aimed fire from cover this is an indispensable item. Despite the fact that Hatsan 125 air rifles have quite high power and muzzle velocity, some enthusiasts may find this insufficient. That is why there is a service for replacing the mainspring (or, as it is also called, the cocking spring). Such an upgrade will allow you to significantly increase the rifle's striking power and hit targets at longer distances.
There is another way to slightly customize your rifle – installing a homemade silencer. In design, it is a metal tube filled with rubber washers with holes in the center matching the bore diameter. The lower part of the tube has an internal thread that screws onto an external thread on the barrel. Of course, you first need to cut the thread on the barrel and only then put on the silencer.
The sound of the shot becomes about 15-20% quieter, but there is one drawback. After installing the silencer, you will no longer be able to reinstall the rear sight on the tip of the barrel. However, if you already have optics installed, then this operation is not needed at all!
