A person should take breaks from the megalopolis as often as possible
Nature: trees, flowers, grasses, shrubs. But man, in his striving for technological development and exploring new horizons, has aggravated the situation to such an extent that not only have natural helpers become insufficient, but moreover, they have turned into our enemies.
What to do, for example, in the summer when you want to relax, sunbathe, swim in a river, but you have neither the opportunity nor the time to go far out of town, and swimming in urban water bodies is life-threatening?
A modern person constantly encounters such situations. But what's the use of describing them in detail, since a city dweller will learn nothing new? It's better to focus on how to maintain or improve health in such unfavorable living conditions.
In this critical situation, much depends on ourselves; only we can help ourselves. Take, for example, nutrition. What prevents us from being more attentive and demanding in choosing food products? After all, natural products can be found in regular supermarkets. It just remains to cook them properly.
Another serious problem of a big city is water. The dire situation concerning one of the essential components of all life on earth can be remedied with a human creation – filters. You should not skimp on at least a simple filter, which is not as expensive as, for example, a water cooler. Saving in this case can lead to much greater expenses, but now for restoring health.
Another simple way to maintain and strengthen health is exercise. Naturally, a person living in a big city has little time to go to gyms, and not everyone has the opportunity to spend money on it. But who or what prevents you from spending just half an hour on morning exercises and feeling great all day?
Another simple way to take care of your health is jogging. A plus of a big city is schools and universities, near which there is a stadium. There you can not only run but also use gymnastic apparatus – such as a horizontal bar, parallel bars, or other sports equipment. People living on the outskirts of the city would be remiss not to take advantage of this benefit and, getting up early, jog at least around the house.
However, not all sports, despite their benefits, are safe in the city. For example, swimming. This sport in itself is very useful, but swimming in urban pools threatens that you can catch some infectious disease, and not just one.
If there is an opportunity, you can take up sports more seriously. Fortunately, there are plenty of sports, and everyone can choose the most suitable one for themselves.
Another global problem is contacts with strangers, regardless of their desire. Public transport, various institutions, etc. For a healthy lifestyle, it is necessary to pay special attention to personal hygiene. Wash hands as often as possible, take care of facial skin, and cleanse it with lotion upon returning home. Do not eat on the street, do not buy products from open stalls, as wind is an excellent "transport" for tiny particles of animal excrement, which very often contain helminth eggs, in other words, worm eggs.
Proper breathing should also be taken into account. You should try to breathe through your nose – air passing through the nose goes through a kind of filter given to man by nature itself; the air enters the body cleansed and warmed.
And under no circumstances miss any opportunity, even for a short time, to leave the city and get out into nature.
