It is always good where we are not. Few would argue with that statement. Every year, many people set off in search of a better life. Emigration is a common phenomenon in the modern world. It seems that in another country, dreams will come true immediately. A good job will be found, the income level will allow purchasing a long-desired car, and most importantly, happiness will certainly be boundless.
Interestingly, it is mainly residents of CIS countries who dream of emigrating. For example, in Ukraine, according to statistics, the number of those who would like to try their luck abroad increases every year. Perhaps it is due to political instability, or perhaps the mentality of local people is particularly dreamy. The reason is unclear, but a fact is a fact.
At the same time, few of those wishing to leave their homeland think about the fact that life abroad may be sweeter, but getting used to its peculiarities will take a long time. And many, in principle, never succeed. Moreover, work, of course, is available in developed European countries, but more often for native residents than for immigrants.
Thus, Germany and the United Kingdom have loudly declared their desire to hire IT specialists from other countries. However, for the most part, these intentions remained just intentions. Moreover, in recent years, these countries have seen a trend towards reducing the number of immigrants. Additionally, even if one manages to officially become a citizen of these states, the new 'compatriots' will hardly ever become 'their own' for the native residents.
The United States is the most popular among immigrants. Here it is easier to find a job, and earnings are decent. Moreover, the States quite readily provide visas to specialists who have a job invitation from an American company. However, getting used to the foundations of life in this country will take even longer than in a European one.
Thus, in America, compliance with laws is taken very seriously. And the laws themselves are sometimes more than pedantic. A well-known fact: in the States, roadside areas and the road itself are very clean and well-maintained. All models of Ford, Chevrolet, and the like exist in almost greenhouse conditions. But the price for such luxury is sometimes high for drivers. The fact is that the police closely monitor this. If a motorist, for example, throws a cigarette butt onto the road, and the law enforcer sees it, the policeman will not mind picking up the 'evidence' and chasing the violator.
Meticulously pursuing the smoking driver, the law enforcement officer will wait until he repeats his violation. After collecting a couple of cigarette butts, the hapless motorist can be charged with a malicious violation and fined accordingly. They will even conduct a saliva test, which will certainly prove that this particular driver indulged in a harmful habit on the road. In this case, one will also have to pay for the examination. And this is just one example. There are many such cases.
Where you are born, there you are useful, says folk wisdom. One should not forget this wisdom.
