Yemen is easing entry into the country: now citizens of Russia, the EU, Australia, Canada, Japan and many other countries can obtain a visa upon arrival by paying 10,500 Yemeni rials (approximately $57) at border crossing points. Recall that since June the state has taken a course toward abandoning the strict visa rules that were introduced after the events of September 11, 2001 in the United States, reports Travel.ru. Previously, the minimum visa processing time for Russian tourists ranged from one to three days. The entry visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue at the consulate. Stay in the country is not limited.
Most of the country, due to climate characteristics, is unsuitable for traditional tourism.
