Among medium-difficulty routes: 'Middle Rhine Valley: from Mainz to Cologne', 'Along the winding paths of the Moselle' (can be combined with a 'wine' tour), 'Beautiful Thuringia in 5-8 days'.
Among tours that require at least some physical fitness and endurance but are well worth the effort are the tours 'Bavarian Dream' (Munich, the Alps, lakes of Bavaria), 'Lake Constance and its paradisiacal corners' (this route passes through Austria, Germany, and Switzerland simultaneously), and 'Germany's Romantic Road' (along the Rhine).
Bicycle tourism in Germany also offers combined tours, where the bike trip includes a section by boat – for example, a cruise on the Elbe or a combined tour Magdeburg-Prague. There are also those where a long bike trip involves a long stay on the coast – for example, a tour to the North and Baltic Seas, combined with a beach holiday. Very popular are the 'Wine Road' in the Eifel Mountains, the Elbe Road, numerous routes along the Weser and Main, and Bavaria with its magnificent mountains and cool lakes.
