And how many advantages these trips promise in spring: historical sights, impressive natural creations, juicy fresh fruits and the gentle sun combined with mesmerizing landscapes will leave unforgettable impressions of a spring bike trip in Turkey.Traveling around Antalya by bike, you will get to know it from a special, unusual side. You will not see Turkey like this coming as a classic tourist. So, ready, set, go!
Country Turkey – a bike trip
A short flight – and we are transported to warm summer. We start from Antalya and gradually will go deep into the mountains and then return back to civilization. The bike tour route goes through fantastically beautiful terrain.We are awaited by classic sea views and breathtaking mountain landscapes, serpentine roads of the Mediterranean coast and wild trails of high mountain slopes, extreme descents and exhausting climbs, deep canyons and, of course, yellow sand and still slightly cool waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
Features of a bike trip in Turkey
Antalya during the off-season is a great place for active recreation, whether it's a bike tour or any other option for active pastime.Due to the climate features in early spring, it is not hot here, so a bike trip to Turkey in March or April will be more comfortable than in the hot summer heat. Despite the evening coolness (the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius), during a trip around Antalya you can sunbathe (during the day the air warms up in places to 25 degrees Celsius), and the especially brave might even want to swim in the sea.
The advantage of our bike trip around Antalya also lies in mobility. Thanks to vehicle support, we can travel light, leaving all unnecessary things for the day in the vehicle. This will allow us not only to easily maneuver on mountain slopes, but also to pick convenient places for overnight stays. The presence of our own vehicle support also gives participants the opportunity to rest a bit during the day and ride part of the route in the comfortable seat of a minibus.
Despite the fact that we try to simplify conditions, a bike tour in Turkey requires certain effort and level of physical fitness. Therefore, before setting off on the trip, pay attention to some recommendations:
• for comfort during the bike trip you need to sit confidently in the saddle and have experience riding on paved road sections;
• during the trip you will have to move not only on paved roads, some sections will be more difficult – for example, mountain trails with dirt surfaces.
Many difficulties, you say. But how many new like-minded friends, and bright memorable emotions and a charge of energy will last until summer! Join us!
