According to Gzt.ru, the constitutional committee of the House of Lords recently called on state bodies to reduce the scale of surveillance of the country's citizens. According to committee members, 'British traditions of privacy and democracy are under threat from pervasive and routine electronic espionage and mass collection of personal information.'
