Green corridors will be created at all checkpoints, for which maximum time limits for border and customs control have been established, reported the press service of the State Committee for the Protection of the State Border.
Thus, the maximum time for carrying out border and customs procedures from the start of control to its completion without removing the vehicle from the general traffic flow: for persons walking - up to 1 minute; for a passenger car with three passengers - 2 minutes; for a minibus with nine passengers - 6 minutes; for a bus with 30 passengers - 15 minutes. If this innovation proves justified, this technology will be introduced on a permanent basis.
According to the State Border Committee, this year there is a trend towards an increase in the flow of foreign tourists to Ukraine by approximately 8% compared to last year. According to last season's data, the most tourists visiting Ukraine come from Russia - over 232 thousand people, Poland and Belarus - over 78 thousand, Germany - 24 thousand, the USA - 20 thousand, Moldova - about 18 thousand, Great Britain - over 13 thousand, which amounted to about 80% of all foreign tourists who entered the country.
