According to him, a three-month moratorium on the expulsion of Iraqi migrants from the country is introduced in accordance with a petition from international organizations and, in particular, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, reports UKROP. In total, in Ukraine, according to Gennady Moskal, today more than 3,000 citizens of other countries have refugee status, and another 4,000 corresponding applications are to be considered by the State Committee for Nationalities and Migration.
As Gennady Moskal noted, refugees enjoy almost all rights of Ukrainian citizens, except the right to work in state institutions, participate in the electoral process and perform military duty. He also reported that currently in Ukraine there are representatives of 134 nations and nationalities.
