You can submit an application for the Türkiye Bursları scholarship only electronically
According to the QHA agency, you can fill out an electronic application on the website turkiyeburslari.gov.tr. Applications are accepted only online. Applications submitted by mail, in person, or by any other means are considered invalid.
According to the Turkish scholarship program, an applicant is entitled to apply for only one of the scholarship programs, according to their level of education and academic goals. When choosing a university and program, applicants should pay attention to the language of instruction at the educational institution and the features of the program.
In a significant number of Turkish universities, instruction is in Turkish, but some educational institutions and programs offer the opportunity to study in English, French, or Arabic. Applicants wishing to receive education in the above languages must provide an internationally recognized document of proficiency in a particular language. Most higher education institutions with a foreign language of instruction also require results of international exams such as GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc. Therefore, it is very important to check the language of instruction and the specifics of the particular program.
Students who are accepted for scholarship studies at a Turkish university but do not have a certificate of Turkish language proficiency will have to take a corresponding one-year language course. This condition also applies to students who will study in English, French, or Arabic.
The scholarship amounts to 600 Turkish lira for bachelor's, 850 Turkish lira for master's, and 1200 Turkish lira for doctoral studies. The Turkish side also pays for tuition at the university, a one-year Turkish language course, provides financial assistance for accommodation, a round-trip plane ticket, and health insurance.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
– not be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey (applications from applicants who previously held Turkish citizenship are not accepted);
