Journalists of the Krakow supplement to the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza cite the following prices: a rafting trip on the Dunajec River costs €9, lunch (fried cheese, baked potatoes, and tartar sauce) - €5, a glass of Zloty Bazant beer - 50 euro cents.

According to Travel.ru, the European Commission and the government in Bratislava set an exchange rate of 30.126 crowns per €1. Officials warned that anyone who tries to overprice in euros will face severe punishment, threatening confiscation of property and even prison.
