Rosstat and the committee for tractor, agricultural, logging, municipal, and road-building machinery of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia notes that in 2010 compared to the previous year, production of special machinery increased overall by 9.3%. This gives reason to believe that the most difficult times are gradually receding into the past. Machine-building production in our country is confidently gaining momentum.
Recently, several target programs have begun operating in Russia at once. All of them imply a sharp increase in construction projects. Therefore, it is natural that the biggest growth in production relates precisely to the machinery typically used on construction sites. Demand rose primarily for skidding tractors. The industry was able to respond quickly, and their output increased by 3.1 times over the year. Production of excavators, tower cranes, and construction loaders also increased by almost one and a half times. The increase in production of backhoe loaders and cranes makes it possible to expand construction volumes. Somewhat lower rates (1.4 times) were observed in the production of elevators and various machines required for municipal services.
According to experts, demand for crane beams is expected to increase in the near future. This is due to the steady growth of private construction in various regions. And although it is currently possible to buy a crane beam for a wide variety of purposes, it is expected that demand may soon exceed supply.
At the same time, it should be noted that less agricultural machinery was produced than in 2009. This primarily applies to tractors, grain and forage harvesters, and seeders.
The slowdown in tractor production growth is due to the fact that at large enterprises such as ZAO "Agrotechmash", OAO "SAREKS", OAO "TK "Volgograd Tractor Plant", which are mainly engaged in tractor production, a decline in output was observed. A decrease in the production of combines and other agricultural machinery was also noted at OOO "Claas", OAO "Bryanskselmash", OAO "PO "Krasnoyarsk Combine Plant".
The revival of activity in the production sector, especially in construction, has led to the fact that, according to data from the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, shipments of most types of machinery exceeded their domestic production. At enterprise warehouses, the number of unsent machinery over 11 months of the past year decreased by 1,009 units and amounted to 7,158 various machines.
Russia has emerged from the economic crisis that began in 2008 and engulfed the entire world in 2009. Currently, buying the necessary special machinery is not difficult; the main thing is to choose the right manufacturer and not skimp on funds for purchasing the desired product.
