A ban on smoking was consistently introduced in taxis, state institutions, sports facilities, hotels, and cinemas, and now smokers are being expelled from restaurants, bars, and places of mass recreation. According to ITAR-TASS, violation of the smoking ban in restaurants will be punishable by a serious fine, the final amount of which has not yet been established.
