Tourists from different countries flock to the Finnish "Moomin World"
What comes to mind when you think of an amusement park? LINNANMÄKI AMUSEMENT PARK
If you are planning to come to Finland in the summer, you absolutely must visit the Linnanmäki amusement park in Helsinki. The park first opened in 1950 and has since delighted visitors with its warm, homely atmosphere. It features over 40 various rides, but the true gem of the park is rightly considered the roller coaster built back in 1951.
These are the last roller coaster built with side friction. Today, only nine such rides remain in the world. After a dose of nostalgia, go up the observation tower and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the capital.

Särkänniemi park is located in Tampere on the shore of a beautiful lake and offers great fun for both thrill-seekers and the youngest visitors. The whole family can feel like heroes of the Angry Birds game in the park's Angry Birds area, or stroll through the charming miniature town Koiramäki (Dog Hill), dedicated to the adorable characters of Mauri Kunnas' children's books. In winter, the rides close, but you can visit the planetarium and dolphinarium, which will be a real treat for the whole family.
Be sure to go up the observation tower – the second tallest among all towers in Northern Europe. Here you can admire the city panorama and visit a restaurant that gives the phrase "haute cuisine" a whole new meaning.
ANGRY BIRDS ACTIVITY PARK
Angry Birds are not just angry birds on your phone. Their real home is the Angry Birds Activity Park in Lappeenranta. The indoor park is open year-round and offers many fun activities for the whole family: laser mazes, soft ball shooting, sports and play complexes, and other innovative attractions based on the famous game.
MOOMIN WORLD
The Moomins are as beloved in Finland as Winnie the Pooh is in Western countries. These amazing characters were created by the famous Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson in 1945. Their worldwide popularity came through books, comics, TV shows, and films. It is understandable that tourists from different countries flock to Muumimaailma (Moomin World) in Naantali.
Here you can return to childhood and immerse yourself in a fairy-tale atmosphere. RANUA WILDLIFE PARK
If you are going to Lapland, you absolutely must visit the Ranua Wildlife Park. This huge zoo is open year-round and offers visitors a chance to observe the lives of over 200 animals of fifty different species. In winter, you can go skiing on your own, explore the area on a snowmobile, or even ride in a sled pulled by reindeer or huskies.
SERENA WATER PARK
Serena Water Park is located 20 km from Helsinki in the city of Espoo. It is the largest indoor water park in all of Scandinavia! For those who love speed, the park offers a huge variety of slides of all difficulty levels – both indoors and outdoors. The names alone – "Tornado", "Half Pipe", and "Crazy Race" – will make your heart beat with joy in anticipation of an incredible adventure.
