Smoking banned in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah

As reported by 'Russian Emirates', violators of the ban will be fined from 5,000 dirhams ($1,390).

Currently, there are no unified anti-tobacco laws in the UAE. Each emirate independently regulates the sale and use of tobacco. However, by the end of this year, a federal law will be adopted that will apply to the entire territory of the United Arab Emirates.
