In Australia, education exports overtook tourism

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, income from providing educational services to foreigners in 2007 amounted to 12.5 billion Australian dollars, while foreign tourists brought the country 11.5 billion. As reported by Parta.org, only coal exports (20.8 billion) and iron ore exports (16 billion) showed higher profits than education.
