Last year, foreigners spent more than 10 billion euros in Poland
According to the Central Statistical Office, the largest purchases are made by visitors from Germany. As reported by Polskie Radio, last year 46.3% of all money spent by tourists came from them. In second place in this ranking were Ukrainians – 20.7%.
Tourists crossing the internal EU border spend their money mainly on non-food goods, while visitors from outside the EU border are most interested in building materials, household appliances and auto parts.
