Studying Abroad: Popular Destinations

Studying abroad is not only about new knowledge but also vivid impressions

Studying abroad begins with language acquisition. English continues to lead in popularity, but Spanish has moved into second place, pushing aside German and French. It is spoken by 500 million people worldwide, and business relations are expanding not only with Spain but also with Latin American countries. Therefore, such a surge in Spanish is not surprising.

Even many internet resources, besides the traditional English-language version, try to include information in Spanish. Website promotion taking into account Spanish-speaking users can dramatically increase the audience of a web project.

Today, there are no major problems in mastering languages – specialized centers have been opened in all CIS countries where Spanish can be learned from scratch by taking intensive foreign language courses.

Studying in the USA also remains at the peak of popularity. California leads in the number of colleges where, in particular, Russian students study. From there, it is possible to later transfer to the best universities in the United States. Such a transfer allows saving more than half the cost of the upcoming education, since in this case the results of subjects studied in college are automatically credited. And already in the college itself, the student gets the right to choose one of hundreds of specializations that the international labor market desperately needs today: from psychoanalyst to design engineer who will in the future design and manufacture office furniture and home furniture.

If there is no great desire to go overseas, then the same full-fledged education (by American standards) can be obtained in the Czech Republic. A branch of New York University has existed in Prague for 10 years. The advantage of this choice is that you can significantly save on the cost of education without compromising its quality.

In addition to the traditional centers for obtaining foreign education – the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany – Australia is gaining increasing popularity. Even with the naked eye, one can see the advantages of obtaining higher education on the Green Continent. Its high level in the world is beyond doubt: here the best British traditions are carefully preserved in studies, and the cost of education is significantly lower than in the same Great Britain. In Australia, foreign students can even receive a scholarship awarded for excellent studies. As they say, both useful and pleasant.

Finally, studying in Australia allows student visa holders to work part-time quite officially. Universities even have their own centers that actively engage in student employment.

Another big plus is that many foreign students study at Australian universities. So feeling lonely here is simply not realistic.
